1. Introduction

Welcome to Clipcat ("we," "our," or "us"). Clipcat provides an AI-powered video generation platform specifically designed for e-commerce and marketing purposes (the "Service").

By accessing or using our website (clipcat.ai) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Service

Clipcat is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to transform URLs, text, and media assets into short-form videos.

3. Account Registration

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Billing: The Service is billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annually). Payment is collected in advance.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refund Policy:
    • Sorry, monthly plans are not currently refundable. Annual plans will be launched soon and will support refunds within 30 days.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Clipcat to generate, upload, or share content that:

  • Is illegal, pornographic, violent, or promotes hate speech.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Creates non-consensual sexual content (NCII) or "deepfakes" of real persons without authorization.

We reserve the right to ban your account immediately without refund if you violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of the text, images, and videos you upload to the Service ("User Input").
  • Generated Output: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Clipcat assigns to you all rights, title, and interest in the videos generated by the Service for your specific inputs. You are free to use these videos for commercial purposes (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Ads).

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clipcat Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the AI-generated content.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, United Kingdom.
